Mus & Remie’s cooking (Rotterdam, NL)

From the day I met Mus & Remie, at my girl Tjandra’s birthday party, they have been talking, well, bragging even, about their cooking. Especially about this so called “Ghetto Chicken” of theirs. Even Tjanny kept telling me that I HAVE to try their Ghetto Chicken with their Ghetto Nasi (fried rice). So a few weeks after hearing all this, I finally got the chance to taste it.

On a saturday they picked me up, took me to Rotterdam and started feeding me. There’s really no better way than to say it like that haha. Mus started with an appetizer. Toast with yogurt-garlic sauce with pieces of cucumber and chopped tomato’s, red onions and basel. Lovely appetizer that got snacked away on his great balcony  with an amazing view on the river.

Then finally the main course, the famous, long talked about Ghetto Chicken with Ghetto Nasi. Yep, these people aint neva lied about it! It was ridiculously good. Boy that chicken made me make noises at the table before I even dug into it lol.

Then dessert, home made truffle chocolate mouuse with banana icecream and whip cream. Laaaawd that stuff is eating pieces of heaven that make you feel like you’re in heaven. No lie! Oh that shit was so good. Writing about it makes me want some again.

As we were still chillin at the balcony while the stars came out, Remie also got me a honeydew melon because he saw on my facebook page that I like those melons so much. I have never felt so spoiled with food as that day. Much love to Mus & Remie (the twin brothers as they call themselves) for making a Piggy feel her nickname worthy, by eating all their food.

I can highly recommend these people as “ghetto caterers”, but seeing I don’t want other people to hog them from me, I will not disclose any information on them, other than their first names ha.
