Jazz Gumbo (New Orleans, USA)
When I was in Houston, we took a roadtrip through Louisiana to go to New Orleans. I have to say, almost every establishment (if not all) in New Orleans has live music. That only makes up for a great breakfast, lunch or dinner to me.
The first night we got there, we went to Jazz Gumbo with Rick. Stokley was already there having dinner. I wasn’t sure what to get and of course it was all typical southern sea food. Stokley recommended the shrimp etouffee, so I went for that one. Can I say deeee-lish? Definitely a good recommendation and I ate my heart out. This shit was amazing. I never had something like that before and I loved it! I am sure most spots in New Orleans serve this type of food, but the service at Jazz Gumbo came with a smile & a joke as well.

Funny note: There was a guy playing the guitar while we were having dinner. The same guy was playing guitar the next day at this other breakfast spot we went to. He recognized us and smiled.
