I came searching for answers and advice. My boyfriend is an up and coming rapper. It's already hard for us because we don't see each other a lot because of school work nd ect. Its not that I don't trust him its the women he will be around that worries me. We've had the talks before and I'm ok for a while and then the worries come back. I don't have the heart to tell him no more music because it's his love and it makes him so happy and I don't want him to resent me. This is the lifestyle he wants and it's the total opposite from my lifestyle. I'm really lost and confused. How do y'all do it?

The ease and access of electronic duplications of what was once manufactured in a basement or on the street has saturated the game. You can't replace the sound of a hi hat or cymbal when it comes to the soul. Hip Hop is Soul Music, and the actual natural street sound is what makes it authentic. Mature listeners will always crave that RAW and UNCUT, because sometimes fine art is best before a suit comes in for the finish. Why does our younger generation remember classic anthems from the 80s, but can recite a verse from a new artist in 06. Right on to the real, and Education to the fakers...

It's the same for beat makers and rappers: Talent is important. Of course, the technical development makes it easy to put out many beats in a short time, but shit remains shit. So if you don't have the talent, you won't be heard, no matter rapper or beat maker. Cause it's also easy to record rhymes nowadays, but if you got nothing to tell the people, why should they listen? The sad thing is that rappers often think they can take money for their work, even if it's mediocre. But on the other hand they take it for granted that I give out my beats for free.

Davide Cucino: Well, you know China has changed its economic model. Up to a few years ago, it was a export-oriented economy. It means China needs foreign enterprises in order to get advanced technology, to get to know how, to be capable of manufacturing more and to export those products abroad. While now China is mainly focused on internal consumption and internal demand. So at that time, at the beginning it was important to attract foreign investment. How to attract foreign investments? Of course, to have incentives and support measures. We believe this era, this phase is over. And if we are talking about domestic consumption, if we are talking about the services sector, we are ready to be competitive in the same way as domestic companies are.

Mari; the same thing that is happening to you happened to me as well :) Our relationship changed a lot, mainly because i have a day job and he does music. Not really a mix and match situation. The other major problem of the industry is the GROUPIES. Him being constantly surrounded by little girls throwing themselves at him raised some serious trust issues. So if you trust him completely, then everything should be fine. If you don't, try to watch your back a little... you never know what happens when that much alcohol is around :) we, fortunately, managed (or i came to terms with, however you want to put it) to work this stuff out.
