Pay was born in the center of the world; Amsterdam. Growing up with a musician as a father it was only natural for her to turn into that direction as well. In the past she has done up artist experience by recording a few songs and by joining a female MC tour. Next to that she has also done up broadcasting experience through internet based radio station Royal Radio while hosting her own old school radio show Royal Reminisce.

She was also part of the Full Impact DJ’s Worldwide, founded by DJ Jamal Smallz (Official G-Unit DJ) from Chicago. As a mixtape DJ she has released projects with Hot97’s chosen top 10 best MC’s of all time, Skyzoo and another great Brooklyn MC by the name of Kel Spencer.

As a music journalist, Pay has interviewed the biggest hip hop / R&B artists and producers such as Public Enemy, Redman, EPMD, Nas, Dwele, Pharoahe Monch, Ne-Yo, The Pharcyde, Sean Price, Jaheim, Raekwon, Rakim, Ice Cube, DJ Premier, Nottz and Rob Lewis. Expanding as an entertainment journalist, her resume includes actors and comedians like Malik Yoba, Kevin Hart and Charlie Murphy as well.

This multi-talent has also written for international online magazines and held a spot as the Editor-in-Chief and writer for New York based S.O.U.L. Magazine. She is one of the managing partners of Planet360 Media Group, based in Amsterdam & Shanghai. Planet360 specializes in publishing music and entertainment related websites in China, such as www.hiphop360.cn. Functioning as the gateway for western music companies and artists looking to expand their business in the world’s fastest growing entertainment market.

With her adventurous nature, Pay loves to travel. She has visited over 25 countries and more than 15 States. She has set foot on almost every continent. To friends Pay is also known as Piggy Pay because of her incredible love for food. She loves trying new things, so it won’t be a surprise to know that Andrew Zimmern is one of her heroes in food and traveling. Pay: “You only live once, so why deprive yourself of making your primary need a fantastic experience?”
