Pay was born in the center of the world; Amsterdam. Growing up with a musician as a father it was only natural for her to turn into that direction as well. In the past Pay has done up studio experience by recording a few songs and got her stage experience by joining a female MC tour. Next to that she has also done up broadcasting experience at the internet based radio station Royal Radio. She hosted her own old school radio show Royal Reminisce and has been a representative for the station throughout the years.

On top of that she was part of the Full Impact DJ’s Worldwide, founded by DJ Jamal Smallz from Chicago (the beat bully / official G-Unit DJ). As a mixtape DJ she has released projects with one of the biggest promises in hip hop and one of Hot97’s chosen top 10 best MC’s of all time, Skyzoo and another great Brooklyn MC called Kel Spencer, amongst other up and coming artists.

As a music journalist, Pay has interviewed the biggest hip hop and R&B artists and producers such as Public Enemy, Redman, EPMD, Black Milk, Nas, Dwele, Pharoahe Monch, Ne-Yo, Young Jeezy, Sean Price, Jaheim, Raekwon, Saigon, Bilal, Rakim, Ice Cube, DJ Premier, Nottz, Scram Jones, Ski Beatz, Rob Lewis and many more.

There is more though. This multi-talent has written pieces for international online magazines and is the Editor-in-Chief and writer for New York based S.O.U.L. Magazine. Together with two business partners she runs Planet360 Media Group which is based in Amsterdam and Shanghai, China. Planet360 specializes in publishing music and entertainment related websites in China, functioning as the perfect bridge for western music companies and artists who are looking to branch out and expand their business in the fastest growing market in Asia.

With her adventurous nature and free spirit, Pay loves to travel. So far, she has visited over 25 countries and more than 15 States. She has set foot on every continent except for Australia, which is still on her list to conquer. With her cameras in her pocket she loves to document everything she comes across.

To friends Pay is also known as Piggy Pay because of her incredible love for food. You wouldn’t believe how much of a pig she is, until you see her feast on a great meal. She eats everything she comes across and loves trying new things. It won’t be a surprise to know that Andrew Zimmern is one of her heroes in food and traveling. You can say she is an unofficial restaurant rater. Or should we say raider? Pay: “You only live once, so why deprive yourself of making your primary need a fantastic experience?”

In short, Pay’s life basically exists of four main ingredients, as she claims:  ”Music is my passion, Writing is my love, Traveling is my adventure and Food is my addiction.”
