Pay is a true music lover, born in the centre of the world; Amsterdam. Growing up with a musician as a father (guitarist, keyanist, singer, songwriter, composer, producer), it was only natural for her to turn into that direction as well. Pay has done up studio experience by recording a few songs and got her stage experience by joining a female MC tour in 2004. Pay is also a well-known radio host for the internet based radio station Royal Radio. She co-hosted The Take Over Show and hosted her own show, an old school show called Royal Reminisce. Pay is currently an important representative of the station, doing the account management mainly focusing on the US.

Next to all of that she is part of the Full Impact DJ’s Worldwide, founded by DJ Jamal Smallz from Chicago (the beat bully / official G-Unit DJ). As a mixtape DJ she has released projects with one of the biggest promises in hiphop and one of Hot97’s chosen top 10 best MC’s of all time, Skyzoo (Internationally Known, the Amsterdam mixtape, 2008) and another great Brooklyn MC called Kel Spencer (the Global Connection mixtape, 2008) amongst other upcoming artists. Be on the lookout for more mixtapes with talented MC’s hailing from the States and everywhere else.

But there is more. As a reporter/journalist, Pay has interviewed artists such as Public Enemy, Slum Village, Redman, EPMD, Bobby Valentino, Black Milk, Nas, Pharoahe Monch, Ne-Yo, GLC, Young Jeezy, Sean Price, Jaheim, Raekwon, Saigon, Bilal, Scram Jones, Guilty Simpson, Bishop Lamont, Ice Cube, DJ Premier and many more.

And to add to it all, this multi-talent has also written pieces for online magazines such as Rebelvision.net (international) and Beatburguer.com (Spain). She is currently a contributor/writer for S.O.U.L. Magazine in New York and is 1/5th of the Fab5ive crew from Fab5ive.nl, a new platform consisting of 5 forces of people over here, all giving a different view and perspective on the industry.

Pay’s name and talent have grown and keep growing through the network she is building and the people she works with. With more mixtape projects in the works, representing a radio station, interviewing the biggest hiphop (and R&B) artists, nationally as well as internationally, and now also focusing more on video reporting and writing, Pay stays on the grind to get her resume up and expanding her business and name. Basically, she’s just doin’ what she loves most. Supporting and spreading good Music.
