Two years and some change ago I got familiar with The Liquid Crystal Project when they were on their first European Tour. This jazz-hop band as they call themselves, consists of DJ and hiphop producer J.Rawls, saxophonist Charles "Charlie Chop" Cooper, keyanist Bjazz and drummer Rob Riley.
The mixture of jazz and hiphop through live instruments and a DJ turned into two albums. The Liquid Crystal Project 2 album is now out in stores and the guys were on tour in Europe to promote it. Watch the interview as they are introducing themselves to those who don’t know them yet, as well as seeing some footage of their live performance @ Bitterzoet in Amsterdam.
Shout out to J, Coop, Bjazz and Rob. And special thanks to: Bas from Bitterzoet for making this last minute show in Amsterdam happen.
Peace & Blessings. <3

The Hypnotic Brass Ensemble is a family band consisting of 8 sons of the incredible jazz musician Kelan Phil Cohran. They have worked with artists such as Erykah Badu, Mos Def and Maxwell. They are touring the world, giving the people fantastic music and an amazing energetic live show.
They were in Amsterdam, again, and this time they took the time out to let me in their circle for a minute to talk about their music. For those who have never heard of them, here's your chance to get familiar with one of the worlds livest bands ever.
Shout out to Yosh, Smoove, LT, Body, Hudah, Clef, Cid and Rocco!
And a shout out to Mos from Crew54 for putting together the intro for my video interviews. Slowly but surely, it’s all coming together. Told y’all I’m on my semi-professional ish now. ;)
Peace & Blessings. <3

Evidence, known for being part of the legendary group Dilated Peoples, got on his first solo tour in Europe for The Layover EP, his latest release. He has been building his name as a solo artist and this was another great opportunity for him to re-introduce himself to Europe, separated from the group he is known from.
This MC left a great impression on me, not just as an artist, but also as a person by sharing his experiences with the world and giving me one of the most valuable gifts anyone ever gave me. A book with priceless content beyond words. The exchange of positive vibes with Evidence, made this one of the most memorable encounters I have had with any artist.
Again, shout out to Hecktik Management and Chief (SoulSearchin) for making this interview possible.
Peace & Blessings. <3

Having interviewed a lot of people that are pretty known already. I got the chance to sit down with an artist that at this young age seems to be a big promise for the new generation in hiphop.
Fashawn is a fresh MC in the game, well not so fresh really seeing he has already worked with respected names such as The Alchemist, Planet Asia and more. Being overseas for the first time, on tour with Evidence, he is introducing himself to the crowd on the other side of the Pond.
Shout out to Hecktik and Chief for making the interview possible.
Peace & Blessings. <3

Substantial is one of those MC's that you just have to know about. Sub was on tour in Europe with CunninLynguists last month and took a good half hour out to talk to me about who he is and what he is about.
Now the reason why it took me so long to post this interview, is because I have been struggling and fighting with the equipment I recorded the interview with. I apologize for the bad audio quality but he has so much dope stuff to say that
I didn't wanna deprive people from this interview regardless of the bad quality.
It’s up to you whether you wanna sit for it and focus on what he has to say.
I just thought it was too interesting not to put out there.
My ghetto days are over after such frustration on trying to get this interview properly edited, but hey, we gotta work with what we’ve got. I’m buying a good cam this month I promise!
Note to Substantial:
I apologize to you as well, cause you really took the time out to do this and this interview deserved a better chance. Next time I will be professionally equipped.
Peace & Blessings. <3

FS Green is a talented young producer from Amsterdam. Having reached his goals already by working with known artists on a national level, he now is ready to expand his work across the Dutch borders.
I got the chance to talk with FS Green to introduce him to the international crowd before he starts invading all over the globe with his music. Watch the interview and see what this dope producer is about.
To check out his work or get more information about FS Green, you can go to: www.myspace.com/fsgreen or www.twitter.com/FSGREEN.
Shout out to FS Green for giving me the scoop. =)

Yes, the interview with CunninLynguists is finally online!
Due to some technical difficulties, the video footage is a little off but the content is too dope not to put out there, so I did anyway.
This is one of the "realest" interviews I ever did with artists, simply cause they were really being themselves. I decided not to edit out anything from this interview, to show people the genuine men behind this talented hiphop trio. Even though I only spoke with Deacon and Natti (Kno was a bit sick), I got to experience Kno later on and he is just as real and funny as the two that I interviewed, so whether he was there or not, the vibe does give a good view of all three of them.
Shout out to CunninLynguists, DJ FlipFlop, Tonedeff and Johan for this DOPE interview.
Again, sorry for the “retro” video footage, but hey, sometimes you just gotta put it out there for the dopeness of the conversation only. =)
Peace & Blessings. <3

It seems people want updates almost everyday but I am trying to keep it limited to when I actually have something going on. But let me inform you that I have done two dope ass interviews last week, with CunninLynguists and Substantial. Due to some technical difficulties the interviews aren’t up on the site yet, but they will be soon so stay tuned for that. You can read about my experience of that night on www.hiphopentrepreneurs.com. Again, the video interviews will be up soon.
Also more video interviews in the works as I have found a new way through technology to make these happen.
Peace & Blessings. <3
