Chali 2na was in Amsterdam again for a show. On one of his off days, Recal, a graffiti artist from Amsterdam, took him out to the Hall of Fame to put a piece on one of the walls. 2na enjoyed himself and definitely took his time with this one lol. (Apologies for the poor audio quality as I forgot to bring my HD cam and recorded everything with my blackberry.)
Shout out to Chali 2na, Mokum Zoo & Tim Pen for an awesome day full of artistic-ness.
Little Dragon, a band from Sweden who’s music is not to be labeled or boxed in. They describe their music as connected with their feelings and from the heart. They have been making music for a few years and have released two studio albums, working on their third at the moment. Little Dragon is as much as independent as it can get and have gained most of their fans through word of mouth. Without any majors backing them up they have been gaining fame all around the globe. With their collaborations on the latest Gorillaz album and touring with Damon and friends, they have definitely been more in the spotlight as people are finally picking up on these great musicians.
In Amsterdam they were supporting the Scissor Sisters at the Paradiso. Yukimi, Erik, Håkan and Fredrik took the time out to talk about Little Dragon.
The Away Team, consisting of rapper Sean Boog and producer Khrysis, are no strangers to those who have been listening to artists that are part of The Justus League, also known as The Hall of Justus. The HOJ is also the home of Little Brother, which 9th Wonder of course was a part of. On the 4th of July, The Away Team released their latest mixtape “Independence Day”.
Check out the video in which 9th Wonder is “re-introducing” The Away Team.
